IDFB
International Dance Festival Birmingham (IDFB) is a major biennial festival produced by DanceXchange and Birmingham Hippodrome.
Already one of the largest dance festivals in the world, IDFB is unique in its diversity and internationalism, programming exceptional dance from across the globe and fostering new collaborations with international choreographers and artists. Animating the city and capturing the imagination, IDFB brings a remarkable line-up of outstanding dance to theatres, streets and public spaces across Birmingham and the West Midlands and creates a wealth of engaging participatory activity for people of all ages.
The third edition of IDFB took place from Monday 23 April until Saturday 19 May 2012.
Please note that International Dance Festival Birmingham is a curated festival, and therefore we don’t accept submissions from dance companies to take part. However, if you’d like to send our programming team some information on your work please email IDFB.
