Un peu de tendresse bordel de merde!
Dave St-Pierre Company (Canada)
£12 – £24 (+ 50p booking fee per ticket)
Controversial, emotionally charged and outrageously funny, this is a theatrical experience like no other.
Human beings are stupid. They always fall foolishly in love, knowing full well that the separation they will no doubt experience will crush them. More moronic than ever, however, they set off madly in search of tenderness.
Exploring the constant need for love and tenderness this striking, chaotic and transfixing production uses humour to tackle taboo subjects. Twenty dancers, naked both literally and figuratively, take you from moments of hilarity to the heartbreakingly emotional. As they leap with primal urgency, or lie crumpled and defeated on the ground, a narrator leads the audience on a journey towards a breathtakingly beautiful and moving finale.
This is a rare chance to experience one of the most provocative, cutting-edge dance theatre performances in decades.
Please be aware that this production contains explicit adult material that some may find shocking.
