This is part of our Outspoken weekend of new performance from Arab artists, curated by Eckhard Thiemann.

Omar Rajeh will talk about his work and the situation of dance in Lebanon. Omar Rajeh is the main catalyst for dance development in Beirut.

He founded and leads the organisation Maqamat, which manages the international touring company, a programme of training for dancers, international exchanges, and the annual international dance festival Bipod.

Our IDFB Outspoken Weekend is one of the outstanding projects granted the London 2012 Inspire mark, the badge of the London 2012 Inspire programme which recognises exceptional and innovative projects inspired by the 2012 Games. Find out more about the Inspire Mark here.
