Sensual, intense, dynamic, and ‘one of the most exciting companies in the world today’ according to international ballet star Carlos Acosta, Danza contemporanea de cuba has, for the past 50 years, produced dancers of the highest quality.
Creating electrifying dance in a distinctly unique expression of all that is Cuban, this programme will include the Olivier Award-nominated Mambo 3XX1 by company dancer George Céspedes. Also featured is Carmen?! by Kenneth Kvarnström, plus a chance for Birmingham audiences to see a new work by renowned Israeli choreographer Itzik Galili.
