Breathe the Beat Roadshow

The new surroundings of the iconic Bullring’s Spiceal Street will be brought to life with this spectacular day of free dance performances and workshops. Come along at any time to see appearances from two of the UK’s leading street dancers, showcases from local talent and professional dance companies, and music from DJ Moyma.

Usually found competing in (and winning) dance contests around the globe, Brooke and Roxy (pictured) from 2011 Hip Hop International World Champions Plague Dance Crew, will be performing throughout the day. Don’t miss this unique chance to witness two of the best street dancers in the world performing here in Birmingham!

Visit breathethebeat.com to watch a series of dance tutorials from renowned hip hop artist Salah which also feature guest appearances from Brooke and Roxy.

This project is part of the Outdoor Dance Programme, led by DanceXchange in partnership with Dancefest, Dancescape and Dudley Performing Arts. This programme has been funded by Arts Council England with support from Legacy Trust UK and Advantage West Midlands as part of the Dancing for the Games programme, which is part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
