House and Jazz Fusion workshops will be delivered prior to the Footwork event.

An incredible night of full on music and dance featuring DJs Atjazz, Afronaught, Jonny Miller, Bruce Q, Martin Lodge and Perry Louis. Join us from 5pm for progressive urban dance classes before the club session – open to novices and experienced dancers alike – with tuition from King Charles, Shaun Cope, Clara Bajado and Perry Lewis.

Broken Beats – Broken beat is an electronic music genre which first appeared the 90’s and derived from Drum and Bass with influences of Jazz, Funk and Soul.

House – House dance is a social dance primarily danced to house music. The main elements of House dance include ‘footwork’, ‘jacking’ and ‘lofting’. House dance is often improvisational in nature and emphasizes on fast and complex foot-orientated steps combined with fluid movements in the torso, as well as floor work.

Bruk up! Is a club night run monthly by Shaun Cope at Hare and Hounds.

The Sound of Footwork takes place between 8pm and 3am.
