Swingamajig is an urban festival dedicated to Electro Swing, Gypsy Folk and vintage mayhem, taking the sounds and styles from the 1920s and giving them a modern twist.

Workshops in lindy hop, jazz steps, electro swing, street and Chicago footstyle. With talented teachers and performers including James Hamilton, Tony Jackson, Cam Mitchell, Shaun Cope and the legendary King Charles from LA. From beginners to professionals, classes are graded and suitable for all.

Electric Swing Circus and Swingamajig are partnering with IDFB for the first time to bring some mind-blowing dance talent to the 2014 festival. Along with live performances at Swingamajig - part of IDFB 2014's Paint the Town Red series of social dance events - we have programmed two days of workshops on  Monday 21 April (Easter Monday) and Saturday 3 May, where you can come and learn a mixture of styles. Come along to learn a style or sharpen up your skills, ready to rock the dance floor at Swingamajig.

Swingamajig will see performances from some of the most inventive, entertaining live acts, DJs, swing dancers, acrobats and artists around.
