DanceXchange, is now developing the next festival which will run from 1-24 June 2018, with the theme ‘Future City of the Imagination’, and wants to strengthen IDFB’s impact by collaborating in new ways, with different partners, and by providing tailored benefits to businesses.
As a signature festival for the city, IDFB is a highlight of Birmingham’s cultural offer – with something for everyone, including free events and activities that entertain, capture the imagination and enliven the streets.
IDFB is committed to its role in helping to make Birmingham a distinctive, attractive city for residents and visitors alike. IDFB 2016 attracted audiences of over 52,000. 68% of festival visitors came from outside Birmingham and 73% of these came especially for IDFB. The festival generated almost £3million in economic activity – and 88% of attenders agreed that IDFB left them more convinced that Birmingham is good for arts and culture.
IDFB achieves great visibility across the city, with a wealth of digital, print and outdoor promotional opportunities – and there are a whole host of ways for businesses to benefit from this and to connect with the festival’s diverse audiences.
