IDFB 2012 Supplement in The Independent

The Independent, IDFB 2012 Media Partner, have created a special supplement dedicated to this year’s festival, and you can pick up your copy with the Saturday 31 March edition of the newspaper.

The 8 page pull-out is full of previews, articles and exclusive interviews, and also features an exciting announcement about a special addition to the cast of Wings of Desire, our outdoor spectacular that will take over Victoria Square between 16 and 19 May.

If you can’t get your hands on a copy of the The Independent tomorrow, you can visit the IDFB section of their website, and keep your eyes peeled during the festival, as we’ll be distributing copies throughout IDFB.

Also, remember to enter their competition to win a pair of tickets to see PUSH at Birmingham Hippodrome in IDFB 2012!

Opportunity: Film Production and Editing

We are delighted to announce details of a new opportunity to deliver the film production and editing requirements for our 2012 festival. We’re looking for people who can help us create inspiring content that will encourage audiences to engage with the festival and document what promises to be four spectacular weeks of live dance!

Volunteers Needed for IDFB 2012

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our team of volunteers for this exciting event. There are a number of opportunities across the festival to get involved as a volunteer: flyering, film/photography, blogging, front of house, facilitating workshops, as stewards and runners – all invaluable in making the festival a success.

If you are over 18 and might be interested in taking advantage of some of these opportunities please indicate your availability on this form and complete the equal opportunities and monitoring form, and email both forms to Leonie Hart. Volunteering will give the opportunity to be involved in an exciting large-scale city-wide event and meet the artists and performers involved.
