IDFB VOLUNTEERS

If you are passionate and enthusiastic about dance and the arts, enjoy working with a wide range of people and have a "can do" approach, then we would love to hear from you!

There are a wide range of volunteer roles across the festival – all vital to its success. This means there are lots of opportunities for you to get involved whether you want to add to your CV, love dance or simply want to see behind the scenes of a major festival.

Responsibilities will include: chaperoning artists, assisting with event and performance set ups, stewarding, flyering and welcoming artists, audiences and participants to the Festival Hub in the Municipal Bank Building on Broad Street.The Festival will be taking place in a wide range of city centre locations – Bull Ring, Hippodrome, Centenary Square, Municipal Bank Building, The Crescent Theatre amongst other places and in some community locations outside the city centre.

As well as the opportunity to be involved in an exciting large-scale city-wide event and meet the artists and performers involved, volunteers may also have access to ticket deals and will be supplied with an IDFB red hoodie.

The deadline for volunteer applications is Friday 1 April and there will be briefings on 8 and 13 April. Please contact recruitment@dancexchange.org.uk to apply to be a volunteer.
