IDFB is pleased to welcome Warwick Arts Centre as a host venue for the first time.

Warwick Arts Centre is the largest arts centre in the Midlands, attracting over 250,000 visitors a year to over 2,000 individual events.

Based in Coventry in the West Midlands and sitting on the campus of the University of Warwick, Warwick Arts Centre is one of the most significant presenters and co-producers of contemporary performing and visual arts in the UK with a programme including theatre, classical music, live art, dance, music, literature, comedy, family events and visual art. Warwick Arts Centre’s work is avowedly contemporary and international in scope and dimension.

Getting to Warwick Arts Centre:

By car:
Warwick Arts Centre is situated between Coventry and Kenilworth, and travelling to the venue couldn’t be easier. On approaches to Coventry, just follow the signs to Warwick Arts Centre or the University of Warwick.

Car Parking:
There are over 2000 safe parking spaces very near to the Arts Centre. Follow the signs for car parks 4, 7 or 8a, which are situated only a 3-minute walk away from the venue itself. Parking is free after 6pm from Monday to Friday, and free all day on Saturdays and Sundays.

Travelling by train:

From Birmingham:
The nearest mainline station to Warwick Arts Centre is Coventry. Regular services run between Birmingham New Street and Coventry train stations and the journey takes less than 30 minutes.

From London:
Just head for London Euston where a regular service operates to Coventry Station taking approx. 1 hour 30 mins.

From Coventry station you can catch a No. 12 bus, which takes approximately 15 minutes, or take a taxi.

Accessibility:

Although it is not essential, Warwick Arts Centre do suggest that you contact them in advance of your journey so that they can readily provide assistance. They are fully wheelchair accessible, and disabled patrons may also bring a companion free of charge.

A Sennheiser infrared system is available in all venues as well as at the Box Office counter. There are headsets available to be used with a hearing aid or without. These can be picked up from the Box Office with accompanying instructions.
